Welcome to the Parish of Glenorchy and Strathfillan.
The Church of Scotland Parish of Glenorchy and Strathfillan was formed in January 2023 by the uniting the previously linked parishes of Glenorchy & Innishael and Strathfillan. This parish is part of the very large Cleir Eilean I Presbytery and lies within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Parish encompasses the villages of Dalmally, Lochawe, Cladich, Portsonachan, Eredine, Crianlarich, Tyndrum and Bridge of Orchy with 2 churches:
Glenorchy Church, on the Old Military Road, Dalmally and Bridge of Orchy Kirk, next to the Hotel in Bridge of Orchy. Both are Church of Scotland. Regular Services are at 11.00am in Dalmally on the 1st Sunday of the month, and at 11.30am on the 2nd Sunday of the month in Bridge of Orchy.
The Remembrance Day Sunday Services are held at the 3 War Memorials in Dalmally, Lochawe and Crianlarich. There are various local activities and events at which we hope to meet you and hope you will feel most welcome.
We are without a permanent Minister at this time. However, we are fortunate to have an Interim Moderator, visiting ministers and an enthusiastic team of elders and helpers to take some of the services.
